That should allow the launcher to update to 2021. This app was designed to replace the Paradox Launcher recently added in Cities: Skylines. As amusing as that is, this open source alternative was originally made for Windows but now it also has Linux support and in my own little testing it works quite well across multiple Paradox titles. My guess is that should work :/ let me know if it does.
